Fatboy’s Rotisserie in Redding is on Twin View Blvd. They have a great selection of barbeque and more, and 12 beers on tap.
The food is tasty and served in very generous portions. The pulled pork is my favorite. You can add all kinds of condiments to suit your taste.
They have a meeting room area too, as seen below, with a flat screen TV. Barbeque and beer. What’s not to like?
I went to Redding new Brewstore across the street from the library, and bought supplies to make an India Pale Ale.

Maybe it’s global warming, maybe it’s just ordinary. Don’t know, but in Redding you can buy locally grown organic strawberries in November. A month when other states are shoveling snow and such. I’m sure those places have their charms, but we have the strawberries, a newspaper, and a cuppa coffee on a sunny November Sunday. And oh yes, they taste as good as they look.
Announcing a new franchise Trader Joes finally coming to the Hilltop area, bringing to an end the continual speculation of the “Buzz on the Street” guys in the Record Searchlight. Just today, there was ink spilled regarding how they just can’t get enough dried organic fruit and other snooty stuff at the Chico Trader Joe’s.
Trader Joe’s continues our community trend toward franchises and big box stores.
Seriously, where were the “Buzz” boys when local Bry’s Market was clinging to life?
