We attended our neighborhood meeting in observance of National Neighborhood Night Out on Aug 5. Our awesome block captain was host. We had some folks from Shascom, RPD, and a few firemen come by too. Maybe it’s global warming, maybe it’s just ordinary. Don’t know, but in Redding you can buy locally grown organic strawberries in November. A month when other states are shoveling snow and such. I’m sure those places have their charms, but we have the strawberries, a newspaper, and a cuppa coffee on a sunny November Sunday….
